| Ben
(the youngest Tabayoyon brother) started with the Epics
in 87. He was performing at Class Reunions for Wapato High School,
but later moved on with the group as it evolved into the "Bottom
Line".
Since the 70's, Ben's been performing
mostly as the "Original Wedding Singer" , he continues
singing as Church Soloist, as well as within the ranks of the
Choir.
His day job is a Principal Electrical Engineer for Lucas EMS.
Shocking.
For Ben, it's all about the
Love of Music and Performing... his motto: " If you can't
find your shorts, give me a call... let's make a connection!"

Ken learned guitar at about age 6, grew up
accompanying Dad at house parties. He's played just about every
style in so many bands..............
60's -"The Raymarks";
'68 - Psychadelic group in Korea called "First Electric Grandmother";
'69 -Band "St. James Infirmary", Played Rock & Blues;
'70 - "Municipal Sound Company" - R&B, Rock, Show
Tunes; '71-'74 - "Young Country" - Top 40 country, Classic
Rock, everything from Haggard to Hendrix; '80 - "Timothy"
playing gospel choruses and original material; '84 - "Ghost
Ryders" - Classic Country & Rock,; '95 - "Leavin'
99" - Country & Classic Rock; '04 - "Time Warp 3"
- Classic Rock, Oldies, Standards, Country, Jazz; '07 - "The
Fabulous Epics" - well you know 'bout that.
"I like to play music, all styles, like I tell people, we're
only dealing with 12 notes, (then you go to the next octave)!"

Although born in New Orleans, Steve (a/k/a “Puggy”)
was reared in Seattle.
He started playing alto/baritone sax w/ the popular Latin-Funk
band Tamaraw that opened for Tower of Power and blues legend Albert
Collins.
He added Afro-Cuban percussion to his musical tastes, and has
taken workshops w/master conguero, Poncho Sanchez.
Besides playing Sax & Percussion for The Epics, Puggy adds
his percussion to Groovola.
His musical influences include P. Sanchez, Mongo Santamaria, Giovanni
Hildalgo, Cal Tjader, and Irakere.

is our Eastside "Go-To-Guy".
Playing
keys, backup vocals and keeping things generally calm and collected
- and always having lyrics handy for Jess.

From the late 80's to 1997, Ted played keyboards
with the retro funk band - "Bottomline".
He also played bass with the 60's group "Epic's" in
the Yakima Valley area.
He
likes listening to jazz standards, funk jazz and latin jazz.

At age 12, Vince developed a passion for music,
specifically the guitar which he played out of tune until his
uncle showed him how to tune it.
In
high school, he started his first band The Epics. They played
in the Yakima Valley until graduation in 66, when he had to get
a job... then Vietnam interfered.
Vince
played semi-pro in the Seattle area with "Bottomline"
for 8 years.
Then, about 20 years ago, he reunited the The Epics.
He
threatens to
keep playing as long as someone will listen... of course it helps
when the gigs keep getting bigger & better!
Vince retired from the Federal Aviation Administration last year
and now works as a part time project engineer for Lockheed Martin
to support his musical passion!

Jim Tabayoyon played drums for the original Epics in 1966
and then rejoined the band in 1986 as percussionist.
He's been heavily influenced
by latin and soul R&B performers...
especially the Carlos Santana band.
Jim makes his living as
a contractor for a regional company in Yakima WA.

Doris Visaya

Doris played with the band "Bottomline" from
'86 to '95. She took a few years off and is back rockin' out with
the Epics.
She's a registered nurse by day, working full time in a management
role.
She enjoys the camaraderie of the group and the fun of entertaining,
and has become an invaluable asset to the Epics' front line.
For Doris - music is The Great Natural Tranquilizer!

Joe Visaya has been playing drums for several bands in
the Yakima valley for many years.
He played with Baccara in
the early 80's and joined the Epics in 1986.
He has roots playing in Rock bands.
He lives in the Yakima Valley
and makes his living as a machinist for Longview Fiber Corp.

John played guitar with the "Last Generation"
for 2 years and
joined the Epics in 1986.
He enjoys all aspects of
the music business but makes his living as a case manager for
the Social Security Administration in Yakima.
